As the Communications Consultant for The Asia Foundation, I delivered project briefs that highlighted the successes of key activities to TAF’s donors.

Part of the Public Financial Management Program (providing related policy support to Myanmar’s 14 state and regional governments), the briefs highlighted the Myanmar Strategic Support Program (systematic support to state and regional governments to strengthen reform) and the Urban Safety Program (engaged state and regional governments to collaborate with the public to strengthen urban safety).

The objectives:

📣 Raise awareness of The Asia Foundations’s impact on the successes of key programs influencing reform processes through empirical evidence and analysis

🔎 Draw on donor reports and discussions with program teams to prepare and design 10 briefs

🎨 Provide guidance and ideas to the graphic designer on brief style and design

Deliverables and impact I owned:

Conducted research and collaborated with the team to understand the key programs and their most valuable impact on government reform

🎯 Interviewed program team to gain insights on each of the four programs to deliver 2-4 case studies for each

Wrote up ten briefs based on the insights, photos, and impact collected

🎯 Worked with the in-house graphic designer to deliver donor-ready briefs that featured compelling storytelling about mobile apps and mapping the number of motorcycle crashes before and after streetlights
