In 2020, as the Communications Consultant for RAFT Myanmar, I led the development and launch of the RAFT website, along with facilitating the design of new, visually pleasing communications products and managing their social media presence.
The objectives:
📣 Raise awareness of RAFT’s mission and impact to donors and peace-building community
💼 Craft a professional, respected brand presence with a new website and streamlined reports and briefs
🤝 Ensure the continuation of strong communications by training Burmese team members on tools, processes, and templates
Deliverables and impact I owned:
Redesigned and wrote content for RAFT’s new website launch, co-creating with the team to ensure user-friendly and aesthetic outcomes
🎯 Launched a website that is available in both English and Burmese that demonstrates their work in conflict sensitivity and effective peacebuilding
Researched the stories behind the participatory research workshops
🎯 Wrote up case studies on leaders who sustain conflict sensitivity initiatives in their professional and personal lives and on the village mapping exercise based on focus groups conducted in the field
Delivered edited reports and branded templates for Powerpoints, Word documents, and website pages
🎯 Trained local staff on these processes to ensure future success
