I like ideas that challenge the norm and stories that make me laugh, cry and think. I enjoy honest communication and collaboration, which is exhibited in my work, a mix of marketing and journalism. I am interested in designing, writing and making the world a more beautiful place.

I am currently a Writer at Proximity Designs based in Yangon, Myanmar. I am also interested in freelance projects and partnering on the following: creating a fashion line, writing a children’s book, and making music. If you are interested in any of these, or simply a cup of coffee and conversation, contact me at +95 9971132704 or e-mail at

Maybe together, we can create something unique and magical!

When I’m not hopping on a plane to a new place, I can be found doing yoga or eating lots of delicious food. I find inspiration in taking photographs, devouring anything culture-, fashion- or tech-related—as well as furnishing my apartment, a newfound addiction.

Last year, I was a social impact fellow at Inle Heritage Hospitality Vocational Center in Shan State, Myanmar. Through teaching English at this social enterprise, I learned that everybody learns better when they’re engaged, when the content and delivery is done creatively. I also learned that if you give 40 students access to digital cameras, amazing things can happen.

Sometimes, I write. I try to write every day. Some of my writing is published in places like Frontier Myanmar and Roads & Kingdoms. Other writing is private, in hopes of piecing together a novel one day in the faraway future.

Before starting my life abroad, I worked in marketing for Brooks Brothers and Giorgio Armani’s beauty and fragrance line at L’Oreal. New York is an amazing place, but Myanmar is warming (and winning) my heart with all its hospitality. ♥
